HIGH COURT HEARING—COMPANY STATEMENT

Following today’s High Court hearing in relation to the four redundant American vessels currently under tow to Able UK’s facility at Graythorp, the company has issued the following statement.

“We would obviously have preferred to begin work on remediating the vessels at the earliest opportunity. However, we understand why the judge has made the decision that no work can be undertaken other than what is required to make and keep them safe until outstanding legal matters are resolved.

“We are confident that our TERRC (Teesside Environmental Reclamation and Recycling Centre) facility is fully equipped to ensure that the vessels can be moored and kept in a safe condition until the hearing scheduled for December 8th.”
