ARRANGEMENTS
FOR SHIPS’ ARRIVAL The second pair of redundant US vessels will be arriving at the Able UK’s TERRC (Teesside Environmental Reclamation and Recycling Centre) later this week. The dry bulk cargo ‘Compass Island’ and the submarine repair tender vessel ‘Canopus’ will join the ‘Caloosahatchee’ and the ‘Canisteo’ which have been berthed at the Graythorp facility since completing their journey across the Atlantic earlier this month. The ‘Canopus’ is expected to arrive on the afternoon of Thursday (November 27th) with the ‘Compass Island’ arriving on Friday afternoon (November 28th). Facilities will be available for the media to use the same area allocated for the arrival of the first two ships. Media representatives wanting to cover the arrival of the vessels should be on site at TERRC by 12.30pm on both days. << back |
