Drill Cuttings TERRC has been developed to receive, treat and dispose of drill cuttings and dredged materials. Drill cuttings may be contaminated with lubricating oils and heavy metals or sulphides. At TERRC drill cuttings can be offloaded, drained and then treated to produce a secondary aggregate, with the contaminated material landfilled at Seaton Meadows Landfill situated 700 metres from TERRC. The infrastructure of this operation is designed to prevent pollution of ground and surface waters, to maximise the quantity of material that can be used and to ensure wastes from the operation are fully assessed prior to disposal. Dredgings from industrial waterways may be contaminated with pollutants ranging from hydrocarbons and heavy metals, to pesticides and PCBs. The dredgings will be treated - uncontaminated material will be stored for reuse and contaminated materials disposed of at Seaton Meadows, after treatment. Such
an integrated infrastructure and disposal network offers an unrivalled
disposal service for both drill cuttings and dredgings offering the
