COMMERCIAL MANAGER (Ref: W-CM09/02)
Teesside Based
This senior position reports direct to the Managing Director with major responsibilities and challenges to secure business and contracts in line with business objectives and business plans. The individual will take command of the full tendering process end-to-end including marketing and pre-qualifications through to tender preparation.
The main office will be Teesside but working mobility across the UK and occasionally abroad is essential.
Ideally a graduate with a sound technical or commercial related qualification and highly computer literate. Direct, recent and relevant experience of onshore disposal services/ demolition/remediation/construction industries is highly desirable together with a competent working knowledge of contract forms within these sectors.

ASSISTANT ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER (Ref: W-AEM08/02)
Teesside Based
We have an opportunity for an ambitious environmental professional to take up the position of Assistant Environmental Manager at our headquarters in Teesside. Reporting to the Group Environmental Manager, the candidate will have experience of:-
- Providing strategic environmental advice and design input to master plans.
- Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Appraisals.
- Development of planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments.
- Up to date knowledge of at least one of the EIA disciplines or a strong track record as lead author of Environmental and Planning Statements.
You should have a broad understanding of the range of social, economic and environmental issues and ideally have particular skills and experience in a number of areas such as: waste, ground contamination and remediation, water and air pollution, noise, earth sciences, hydrology and drainage.
You will contribute professional environmental experience to projects, provide strategic input on environmental issues during masterplanning; lead on major planning applications for regeneration projects, infrastructure developments and various building projects; manage project team, including external sub-consultants, to promote applications on behalf of the employer.
You must be computer literate and be able to produce reports of high technical standard.
Qualifications and Experience:-
You must have at least 10 years experience working in a consultancy, local authority or with a developer.
BA/BSc Environmental Science, Geography, Planning or related discipline
or
MA/MSc Planning, Environmental Impact Assessment or related discipline, together with membership of appropriate professional bodies.
The successful candidate must have a valid driving licence.
