The Group also remains a European market leader in the receipt and disposal of redundant oil and gas structures, achieving a c. 99%+ recycling rate at its Able Seaton Port near Hartlepool.
As a major landowner across the north of England – including one of the UK’s largest vehicle storage and distribution centres near Immingham in Humberside, the property development arm of the Group is committed to delivering environmentally friendly solutions that best serve the needs of supporting communities.

Due to the above, the group is continually growing, and we are currently looking for a 2 x Ground Workers to join our team.
OBJECTIVES
You will play an essential role in contributing to the construction division at Able Seaton Port facility ensuring safe and timely delivery.
To work safely and efficiently in an allocated team throughout various stages of construction project.
Working at all times to ensure that the ABLE HSSEQ objectives and operational requirements e.g. Zero Harm, observation of the ABLE 8 etc. are always maintained.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties will include:-
Compliance with Company and Project safety, health and environment regulations
Follow and understand RAMS issued by the Supervisor.
Ensure that you are aware of the requirements and are following all procedures and permits accordingly
Be aware of possible risks and hazards including but not limited to hazardous materials, gasses, leaks in plant and equipment, unstable and unprotected excavations, client interface in the working area.
Ensure you are aware of and have clear understanding of the objectives and set deadlines.
Communicate regularly with your team, senior supervisors, highlight any obstacles (including safety related issues) that may affect the set objectives and deadlines.
Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
Be conscious that YOU can STOP the job at any time if you have any safety concerns.
Operating plant and machinery safely only if you are trained and competent to do so and to the best of your ability within limitations of that item of plant and machinery
Inform Works Manager / Plant Manager of any defects or problems with items of plant.
Ensure that the conditions of your service requirements are met and the item of plant is correctly greased and that all liquid levels are at the correct level.
Display good and effective communication skills, informing workers in the area about potential hazards and emergency procedures.
