Milence Win Prestigious Award for Best Renewable Energy Project in the Humber at Offshore Wind Connections 2025

ABLE is delighted to announce that, our clients Milence, have been honoured with the Best Renewable Energy Project award in the Humber region at the Offshore Wind Connections 2025 conference. This prestigious recognition was given for delivering the groundbreaking Milence EHGV project, the UK’s First Public Electric Heavy Goods Vehicle (EHGV) Charging Stations at Able Humber Port. The award underscores the dedication to advancing sustainable energy solutions and leadership in the renewable energy sector.

The Offshore Wind Connections conference, is a premier event for the offshore wind industry, gathers experts, stakeholders, and companies to explore the latest advancements and opportunities in renewable energy. The award for Best Renewable Energy Project in the Humber is a significant accolade, highlighting the exceptional impact and excellence of the Milence EHGV project.

The Milence EHGV project is a pioneering initiative designed to reduce carbon emissions and noise pollution in the Humber region. This project not only contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases but also enhances the quality of life for local communities by minimising noise pollution.

Able Humber Port provides 354.8ha (868 acres) with 42.7ha (108 acres) of quays, including 177.7ha (439 acres) of designated tax site within the Humber Freeport. The opening of Milence’s new eHGV hub is the first of our exciting net zero developments on AHP”.
